It's a Stacking the Shelves Post!

This is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where we share what books we have recently added to our physical or virtual shelves.

This is my second ever Stacking the Shelves. The first one was posted in June, and I've been meaning to create another post for this, but I just kept forgetting about it. Well, I didn't forget this time!

Here are the books I have added to my real and virtual bookshelves in August (the entire month so far, including a few days at the end of July; I didn't get all of these books in a week).

My Amazon order
(two for bought new from bookstores through Amazon)

Fear by Michael Grant
The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa
Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein

Won in giveaways

Ink by Amanda Sun (ARC)
Unremembered by Jessica Brody (ARC)
Steel Lily by Megan Curd

Won in challenges on the YA Buddy Readers' Corner group on Goodreads

Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins
Mind Games by Kiersten White
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

ARCycling

The List by Siobhan Vivian

Free

Heavenly Hell by Aria Williams

Everything else shown was bought for my Kindle

It's going to take me a very long time to get through all of these, but I've read three of them! Those are in the top row of the ebooks picture.

Have you read any of these? What did you think? If you've written a review for any of them, I would love to check it out!

    1. I've heard so many good things about Anna and the French Kiss. I just had to have it. The other one, too, was a must have. I decided to make that entire Amazon order just because I wanted that book.

      Thank you for stopping by!

  2. Dang gurl! That's a lot of pretties. I really liked Eternity Cure and Of Poseidon. For Eternity Cure, I was halfway through it and then the book expired cause I got it from NetGalley lol. I was like 'dang it!'. Of Poseidon was great but the sequel was awesome! The Sea of Tranquility is really good :D You should definitely read that one asap! I know lots of people loved it, including me. There are some awesome quotes in there and the characters are relatable.

    1. I will definitely read The Sea of Tranquility soon--or, at least, I hope. I still got this big pile of books I need to read before then, though. I've heard it's an amazing book, so when I saw it was on sale one day, I jumped at it. I had to get it.

I'll probably wait a little on The Eternity Cure so I won't have to wait as long to read the next book in the series.

I think one of the reasons why I got Of Poseidon is that I really want to read the sequel. Lately, I've been really interested in sequels to books I hadn't read yet, so I've been buying the first books in those series just so I can have a better reason for wanting to read their sequels. I did that with Victoria Scott's and Rachel Harris's books this month.

    1. It's summer, which is when I go a bit book crazy. I don't usually get this many books in a month. They all look like great books. I read Sweet Peril last week, and it just sucked me in. I haven't written a full review yet, but it should be posted soon (hopefully).

I like leaving books to be surprises. I don't look at summaries very much anymore.

I also bought Daughter of Smoke and Bone around a month ago.

Happy reading and try to get some sleep.

  15. Woooow nice haul girl!:)
I haven't read any of those except for the 'Gone' series :P
What blogs do you go to to get those giveaways? I'm really curious. Because a few of my other blogging friends have been winning giveaways recently, and I want to know which website everything is going too.

    1. I go to all sorts of blogs. I won the two ARCs from a blogger's personal giveaway--she was moving and she had a big stack of books she was giving away. I believe Steel Lily came from a book blitz giveaway. I enter giveaways regularly, and I think that improves my chances of winning something somewhere.

I would suggest finding giveaways that have multiple prizes or a low number of entries, though, if you're looking for a better chance at winning something.
