Stacking the Shelves (10) ~ Recent Book Deals!

This is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where we share what books we have recently added to our physical or virtual shelves.

My last Stacking the Shelves was from November 23rd, so here are all the books I've added to my bookshelves since then. (Each cover is linked to the books' Goodreads pages.)

I bought a lot of books this week! There were some irresistible ebook deals and on Monday, I made a big order from Amazon (three of which haven't arrived yet). Most of the books I bought were on sale, though! The most expensive one I got was $7.20 for a hardcover and the rest were much lower than that.

*I've read two of the Seasons of the Moon books, and I really liked them!

  2. Wow, lots of good reads! Steelheart is SO GOOD! I absolutely loved it and gave it to my dad to read. He's flying through it, and isn't even that big of a reader. And I see Jennifer L Armentrout! Love her! I hope you enjoy all you got :)

    Here's my STS!

    1. I read a rave review of Steelheart a few months ago, and I decided I needed it! It sounds so good, so I couldn't resist the good price (only a few bucks). Thank you. :)

  3. Nice Haul! I saw someone else got The Testing for free this week to, unfortunately it was too late by the time I got there, no worries though I'll still get it at some point. Nice wins too! Thanks for stopping by my STS! Happy Reading!

  4. Part of me wants to grab The Testing right now since it's only $2.99 as an ebook but I'm not sure if I want to buy it. I'll probably end up getting it from the library. The reviews I've read haven't been favorable so I'm hesitant.

    1. It would probably be best to get it from the library. I probably wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't free. Plus, getting it from the library means you save three bucks of your money to spend on another book you're excited for!

  5. I've heard such mixed things about The Testing... I'm not sure if I want to read it now. But if I'd seen it for free, of course I would've gotten it too, haha. You got some great books! I really need to read Thornhill as well... I absolutely loved Hemlock, but for some reason I haven't picked up the sequel yet. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. It never hurts to snag those free ebook copies. I don't know much about The Testing, but if I want to read it one day, I'll at least have it at hand. I have yet to read Thornhill, but I have such a good feeling about it that I'm already excited for the sequel.

    1. Just go ahead and post the review! I totally understand why you would DNF it. There was actually a part of the book that really irritated me (I consider my review of it to be my rave and rant all rolled into one). :)

  9. Lucky! You got Be With Me. I requested it but got denied. Probably for the best because I already have too many review books. :P Enjoy it all!!

    1. You'll be able to read it eventually, though. Sometimes it's a really good thing to not have extra books added to the big review pile. It leaves more room for non-review copies. :)

  24. I haven't read any of these, but there's several I'd love to read! Most of these authors I haven't read either, but my husband does love Brandon Sanderson's adult books, so much so that I've been wanting to pick up his YA ones.

  28. I'm really sad that I missed The Testing free on Amazon. I only heard about it through people's hauls this weekend, but when I went to check it out it was not free anymore :( I still added it to my GR's though, because it sounds fantastic.

Left Drowing looks great, it's been on my TBR as well.. I hope you enjoy it :)
