Top Ten of 2013: My Favorite Covers of the Year!

This event is hosted by Two Chicks on BooksMagical Urban Fantasy, and Fiktshun. Thank you for hosting. :)

Today's topic:
Best Book Covers of 2013

Today's post was a lot tougher than yesterday's, but I was still able to pick ten! I didn't rank them, but I'm pretty sure if I did, These Broken Stars would've been number one.

I see a trend in my favorite covers! I seem to really like shiny covers . . .

What are your favorite covers from 2013?

  1. I'm definitely seeing a trend with everyone's picks! We have two of the same picks :) I really want to read Unbreathable but I keep forgetting about it. Splintered is so beautiful that it's kind of creepy. I actually DNFed Splintered but I think I was in a bad book so I'll definitely re-read it.

    1. Hey, I DNFed Shadow and Bone, then went back to it later and absolutely loved it. The series is a new favorite of mine. :) I hope you'll like Splintered the second time around!

  4. Ooooh, pretty covers! I'm glad to see that people love the cover for Splintered as much as I do, it's so whimsical and perfect for the story. Every time I pass it in a book store I have to stop myself from staring at it.

    1. I don't think I've ever seen an actual copy of Splintered. :( I know I want it in hardcover, though, because that cover is gorgeous!

  5. We share most of these! I have Splintered, but I haven't read it yet. The cover is pretty, but it doesn't appeal much to me :\ I can't wait to see what the third book will look like! :D

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

  10. I think under duress I would've picked These Broken Stars as my number one too! I mean, just look at it! I'm upset I didn't think of The Burning Sky when I was making my list, because it definitely would've been on it. These are great picks!! :)

  11. The Clockwork Princess and Splintered have really beautiful covers. That of "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" is dark and spooky, definitely carries a good dose of mystery. Nice choices! :)
