Review
*I received an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Come Back to Me was a nice, sexy read! It wasn't quite as great as I was expecting, but I did like seeing how the characters grew throughout the book.

The intensity of the romance was one of my favorite parts of the book. While there were times where I felt like Jessa and Kit's relationship wasn't developed enough to convince me they felt deeply for one another, there were some intense scenes that made me like their relationship more. Those moments helped me see how great their chemistry was. (There was a LOT of chemistry.) They were a good couple.

I really liked many of the supporting characters. Jessa's best friend was entertaining. Kit's dad was wonderful! He seemed like a very supportive and smart man. Jessa's dad . . . he was a bit of a surprise. I ended up really liking him. I do wish I could've gotten to know these characters and some of the others (like Jo) a lot more, though. There was so much focus on Jessa and Kit's relationship that the other characters didn't seem as important. Even Riley and his relationship with his sister seemed to take that kind of backseat to the romance. I would've liked to see more of the other characters.

Come Back To Me featured a lot of topics: military, love, loss, guilt. I liked that the military was such a big part of the story. It was interesting to see how the characters were impacted by it. It was also really sad to see it.

One thing that prevented me from loving this book was the big twist. It didn't feel like a natural part of the story. It sure was a reasonable event for the story, but the way it was set up gave me the impression that the twist was used for tension and shock value. It was like it was added to put a kink in Jessa's story instead of being something that was meant to happen. I may have appreciated the entire book more if the first chapter didn't set up for the twist.

Overall, Come Back to Me was a decent romance that many fans of New Adult will enjoy reading. There were some issues that prevented me from loving this one, but there was plenty that made me like it.
